Jennie Weingartner has held several positions at Ericsson within marketing and sales since 1999 and currently works as senior consultant at Ericsson Germany GmbH, dealing with various project areas - mobile healthcare being one of them. Before joining Ericsson, she gained first experiences at Iridium, one of the pioneers of satellite communication. She holds an Executive MBA degree as well as a Magistra Artium of literature, languages and education.

Dimitri Konstantas is Prof. at the University of Geneva (CH) and the University of Twente (NL). He has been active for the last 18 years in research in the areas of object oriented systems, agent technologies, multimedia applications, e-commerce services and mobile health systems, with numerous publications in international conferences and journals. Prof. Konstantas has a long participation in European research and industrial projects and is consultant and expert to several European companies and governments. His present research interests include networked and mobile applications specifically in the area of e-health. Prof. Konstantas was the scientific Project Coordinator of the MobiHealth IST-2001-36006 project.

Richard Bults is employed as ICT developer at the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science, chair Architecture and Services of Network Applications, of the University of Twente. He holds a Masters degree (cum laude) in Telematics and a Bachelor degree in Technical Computer Science. His technical expertise covers the design and performance evaluation of complex telemetics systems (e.g. MobiHealth system), application of wireless communication technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, GPRS, UMTS, WiFi) and telematics system requirements analysis. In addition, he was one of the initiators and key contributors to the European MobiHealth project proposal; later on became the technical coordinator of this project. End 2003, he was one of the key contributors of the European HealthService24 project proposal; later on became the technical officer and Workpackage leader "System integration/ adaptation and support of the prototype" of this project. Finally, he is the (co)author of several mobile health related scientific papers.
